Philipp Krieger Wins the Omaha Dealer’s Choice, the Last Title of EMPC 2026
Germany’s Philipp Krieger won Event #12, the €200 Omaha Dealer’s Choice, at Olympic Park Casino in Tallinn for €3,004. It was the last event of the series, so Krieger is the final champion of EMPC 2026.
The self-confessed recreational player beat Estonia’s Heiti Riisberg heads-up for his first title. Krieger had reached three final tables earlier in the week, including fourth in the Dealer’s Choice and fifth in the Nordic Blood Mix. “I’m very glad to win it, my first title,” he said. “I had three appearances on the final table this series, so it should be me this time, and luckily I got it. I guess I was the best player in the field, so what can I say?”
Players made 61 entries in the Omaha Dealer’s Choice, a new event for 2026. They chose from six pot-limit games: Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo 8, 5-Card Omaha, Big O, Courchevel and Sviten Special.
