EMPC 2026 schedule
Mark your calendar, because Europe’s premier mixed-game festival is back bigger and better than ever before. A new venue. A new schedule. Six days dedicated entirely to mixed games.
From October 26–31, players from across Europe and beyond will gather in Tallinn, Estonia, to compete for EMPC titles, prize pools, and ultimately the honour of being crowned the next European Mixed Poker Champion.
The 2026 edition takes place at Olympic Park Casino at Hilton Tallinn Park and features our biggest schedule to date. With 12 championship events, buy-ins ranging from €200 to €1,500, and a carefully curated mix of classic rotations, draw games, big-bet action, dealer’s choice formats and unique Nordic creations, the EMPC offers something for every type of mixed-game player.
Whether you’re a seasoned mixed-game specialist, a curious newcomer looking to expand beyond Hold’em, or simply someone who loves poker in all its forms, you’ll find your game in Tallinn.

One of the fastest-rising mixed-game formats, S.O.R.B.E.T. has evolved from the more traditional H.O.R.S.E. rotation. The draw games 2-7 Triple Draw and Badugi have been added, while Limit Hold’em sits this one out.

#8, Senkel’s Paradise Pick’em – €300
Nobody knows exactly when or where Paradise Pick’em was first introduced to the poker world. The concept is simple: turning H.O.R.S.E. into the player’s paradise. The player on the button gets to look at their three cards before choosing the game of their choice, a powerful position to be in!
Normally in Paradise Pick’em all three cards are dealt face down. However, in Senkel’s version, each player receives their cards as a stud hand. If the chosen game is a stud variant, the hand proceeds as normal. If Omaha High-Low is selected, players receive a fourth card while continuing to play the hand with one exposed card. If Hold’em is selected, all upcards are discarded and play continues as normal.
The final twist is that Razz is played as 2-7 Razz, meaning aces are high and straights and flushes count against you! The goal is to create as much variety between the games as possible and truly make the game paradise for the player in charge on the button.
The Mix:
- Fixed-Limit Hold’em
- Fixed-Limit Omaha High-Low 8 or Better
- Fixed-Limit 2-7 Razz
- Fixed-Limit Stud
- Fixed-Limit Stud High-Low 8 or Better
Reigning Champion: New Event
#9, 8-Game Main Event – €800
This is what it all leads to.
The EMPC Main Event is the crown jewel of the festival: a two-day 8-Game Championship featuring two starting flights, one re-entry per flight, and a structure designed to reward skill across every discipline of poker.
No specialists. No hiding places.
To win this title, you must navigate limit games, split-pot games, draw games, stud games, and big-bet pressure situations. Every orbit presents a new challenge, and every champion must prove they can adapt.
Over two days of play, the field will be reduced until only one player remains. One player who has conquered every format thrown at them and earned the title of European Mixed Poker Champion.
This is the classic 8-Game rotation that mixed-game players know and love. The most prestigious title of the series awaits.
Do you have what it takes to claim it?
The Mix:

- Fixed Limit Omaha High-Low 8 or better

You get the volatility of no-limit and pot-limit games combined with the manoeuvrability of limit games. Watch as players become short-stacked during the fixed-limit rounds, only to become prime targets once the betting limits disappear.
The Mix:
- Stud8
- PLO8
