“Live, that’s actually my first mixed game trophy,” Bokowski said. “If I could choose one trophy or one tournament to win in this series, it would have been this.”

Bokowski forgot one. He won the €225+25 8-Game at The Festival in Rozvadov on 2 June 2024 for €4 646, which makes the Nordic Blood Mix his second live mixed game title.

Bokowski came close at EMPC last year. In 2025 he cashed four times for €10 890: fifth in the Welcomer Big Bet Mix (€1 095), third in the Hi-Lo Mix (€3 325), third in the S.O.R.B.E.T. Low Roller (€2 065) and second in the 6-Game High Roller (€4 405). Žerjav finished one place ahead of him in that Hi-Lo Mix.

The Nordic Blood Mix includes Østfold Razz, a new Scandinavian game, and Bokowski had a head start. “Maybe I cheated a bit, because I have played it before in the summer,” he said. “It helps a lot having a lot of Norwegian friends or Scandinavian friends who have discussed the game with me, or played it even.”

Žerjav took €4 100 for second, and Finland’s Jarno Malinen finished third for €2 880. Nine players shared a prize pool of €20 530. “The final table was really tough actually, and the heads-up against Blaž, like the ultimate contest,” Bokowski said. “But yeah, very happy to have succeeded, for sure.”

He wants more games like Østfold Razz in the mix. “I think everybody who loves poker or mixed games enjoys getting new tasks, new puzzles to solve, new games to play,” he said. “So if the game evolves, if there will be new games, everybody will be happy about it.”

Bokowski also finished third in the Welcomer Big Bet Mix this week, and he is going after the Player of the Series leaderboard. “Win more of them. Like, go for the leaderboard now for sure, this year,” he said. “And 100%, I will be at every EMPC there will ever be.”
